LAND AND LIGHT
My works for this exhibition include paintings that summarise encounters, thoughts and observations of places visited this year. Times of travel were short. Some brief encounters, those snatched moments by the sea … but they shaped my work. Wandering along coastlines with Infinite, endless horizons, breathing in the salty air. The push and the pull of the tide, watching and seeing. The ever-changing light, the colours, the sky, echoing the ephemeral qualities of time and the element.
